IWPC for Wastewater Operators
The IWPC conference is a great way to meet other wastewater professionals and further your knowledge about wastewater. There are quite a few activities during the conference to help you learn and grow as an Operator. These activities include:
Conference Orientation – A presentation geared towards Conference newbies that will help you navigate the conference and the venue. Monday, 9:30-10:am
Presentations – A chance to listen to other industry professionals talk about new and exciting innovations in wastewater, case studies, products, projects, etc. Certified Operators will earn CEUs for attending these presentations. Agenda
Exhibit Hall – Speak with Exhibitors to learn about wastewater products, equipment, processes and design. A fun Mobile Session will be held on Tuesday from 3-4pm in the Exhibit Hall, eligible for 1 CEU. Check the Agenda for more details.
Daily Raffles – Baskets are raffled each day of the conference. Gather, buy tickets, and be a lucky winner! Proceeds go to towards scholarships to Environmental Resources Training Center students.
Evening Activities – Activities geared toward networking and socializing with other wastewater professionals. Don't miss the Exhibitor's Reception for food, drink and networking-Tuesday 4-6pm, Exhibit Hall.
Operations Challenge – A friendly competition amongst operators is held on Tuesday afternoon in the Exhibit Hall. More Information.
Awards Banquets – Attend these evening events and discover who the annual award winners will be!

OPERATOR TOUR-Monday 1-3pm
IWPC 2024 is offering a tour of Greater Peoria Sanitary District for IWPC attendees! T March 18. The tour is free, but attendees must register for the tour when registering for the conference.
IEPA OPERATOR EXAM REVIEW COURSES
Whether you are registered for an upcoming exam or would just like a refresher, IWPC offers two separate review courses.
Class 3/4 Exam Review Wed 9-11am
Class 1/ 2 Exam Review Wed 12:45-2:30pm
Full-Conference or One-Day Registration at IWPC will allow an Operator to attend the Review courses.

1. Submit an Examination Request Form to Illinois EPA. The form can be found by clicking on the following link:
2. Check your Mail. IEPA will respond to the Exam Request by sending a Letter of Admittance (LOA) to the Operator via US Mail. This mailing will include a list of exam locations and contact information for each location.
3. Schedule the exam. Using the list provided by IEPA, call the appropriate test site to schedule. If unsure how to schedule, reach out to IEPA by phone or email:
